OVER £693K RECOVERED IN APRIL ACROSS VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES 

At Scorpion Automotive, we successfully recovered £693,300 worth of stolen vehicles and motorcycles during April, continuing another strong month of recoveries across the UK.

FASTEST RECOVERY OF THE MONTH COMPLETED IN JUST 14 MINUTES

The Metropolitan Police Borough responded to the highest number of theft incidents this month, reinforcing the continued challenge of organised vehicle crime throughout the country.

The data demonstrates how thieves continue targeting both commuter motorcycles and high-value prestige vehicles. Scooters and motorcycles remain highly desirable due to their portability and resale demand, while luxury vehicles continue to attract organised criminal activity.

DAYTIME THEFTS CONTINUE TO DOMINATE 

April’s combined recovery statistics revealed that 39% of thefts occurred during nighttime hours, meaning most thefts took place during the daytime, highlighting thieves will strike confidently without the cover of nightfall.

HOW WE LIAISE WITH THE POLICE 

When reporting a stolen vehicle, you should first contact the police and obtain a Crime Reference Number (CRN). Once this is passed to our Vehicle Recovery Team, we can begin working directly with the relevant police force to track and recover your vehicle.

Our recovery specialists are trained to support police forces across the country – providing them with accurate tracking information and real-time vehicle location updates.
